Clean Mouth, Healthy Pet

A survey involving nearly 1000 UK Vets was published on Tuesday. It stated that 66% of Dogs and more than 80% of Cats over four, require some form of dental treatment.

The survey included over 6000 Dogs and over 3000 Cats and the results showed that pets, whose owners had brushed their pet's teeth at least three times a week, had the best oral health. Over 90% of Cat owners and more than 70% of Dog owners had never brushed their pet's teeth.

You must not brush your pets teeth with human toothpaste. The high mineral content and foaming will cause problems for animals.
